A black Professor of Nigeria descent has made history recently by attaining one of the highest rank in the Educational sector in the United States. last month he became the first ever Black vice chancellor of the University of Illinois
Prof Illesanmi was born 1949 at Ifon in present day Ondo state, Nigeria. he is a physicist and a Donald Bugger Willet professor of Engineer. Also Prof. Illesanmi is a member of Fluor corporation and also a fellow of INSTITUTE OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERS(IEEEs),AMERICA ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE(AAAS).
